Growing Discoveries Once in life my inflicted soul was so graciously embraced with an exquisite taste of you A longing to indulge the plague of inherent empty holes inside blossomed as the unexpected springtime color became a song and grew As I grew you grew upon my barren stumbling walk and we confronted the forgetfulness of truths A consuming desire to embrace your blessed touch and breath of love cleansed as the much anticipated rain became a flood and followed through Through the pain I finally followed through neglected narrow trails and fell forward into the most beautiful of seasons A studious pursuit to bathe within the goodness of your hands encouraged me to scan the vastness of the skies became my heart and gave me reason reason to discover you Timothy Work 2004 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. "and we confronted the forgetfulness of truths" i love that line.its a great poem! another line i liked is "neglected narrow trails and fell forward into the most beautiful of seasons" thats so wonderful! pls do stay in that beautiful season... Jesus died that you might live...accept that and u shall be saved. |
