The Devil’s Workshop

Worrisome brooders
lose ther days
To the tune of the devil
And his lackluster ways.

Gossip lays cozy
Nurtured by time;
An idle and lazy
Ladder to climb.

Once at the top
They all tend to crumble
And fall to the floor
With an attitude, humble.

They reach out their hand
To God they implore
And pray for His mercy
Like never before.

Where are the talents
They harbored within?
They’re showcased in danger
And polished in sin.
