As I lay here and look up at the sky, My only thoughts are of you so I ask god, why. There comes no answer, only the moon so full so bright, stars are shining as the moon touches each, with it's light. again I ask why my thoughts are only of you, still no answer, only a vision once a dream, forever a memory as it cme true. lying on the cool tall grass, your warm body soft light from stars above,a moment i prayed would forever last. now i imagine you here next to me, a tear falls, i can feel your touch so tenderly. i miss the way you make me feel so good, like no one else has and no one ever could again i ask god to explain, now my tears are falling like a heavy rain, i turn and see a falling star, love fills my heart, my answer came, love was true, from the start. Very provocative Grover, but God never goes away. We lose sight of him sometimes but that is our doing. Love, Joyce |

The form and body of the poem was very touching. I liked it immensely. The caps take away from the beauty of this piece. If you did away with those and fixed the spelling errors this would be magnificient. I am far from an expert but I thought it was really good. Kie |

Very much better w/o the caps! more appealing. I have asked the question, "what did I do to deserve such a wonderful man?" more than once. Never asked god tho,,wouldn't care for any answer he gave anyway, lol good job Michelle I wish all could find the true happiness I have found,,in the eyes of Mike |

Sigh.... It is said we draw others into our lives for the lessons of the spirit. Some fly and some take up permanent residence. ~ Karen ~ |

This is a very heartwarming poem. Sometimes it seems like the answers never come. And yet, we know, if we have been Christians for very long, that the answers are on the way before we ever ask. They just may not arrive in our time - everything happens in God's time. I was sad at the beginning butby the end of the poem, I was sm iling for and with you. Really good poem. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |
