Covenant

When the winds blow cold,
Against you, all around you,
Feel the gentle breeze,
Within its heart of frost,
Warming up the hearts of men.
You must know all's not lost.
God's people are divinely guided.
The Shepherd will not leave us lonely.
We cling together now so loosely,
But soon as a body tightly.

When the burning sands of deserts,
Whip across the land,
See ocean waves lick the shore,
Cooling the arid sand.
Quenching thirst and giving life.
Freeing us from desert places,
And the desperation,
That cut at our heart like a knife.

When the skies begin to darken,
And the rain begins to fall.
See the Son above the clouds,
Hear victorious voices call,
"Come and see the Sonrise,
God's covenant, Light and Rainbow.
Come look with faith in your eyes."
Deep in your heart you'll know."

The rain will not always,
Spread a flood throughout the land.
Someday skies of brightest blue,
Will cut the somber clouds in glory,
And God's power will shine through,
As the angels and we sing Salvation's story!
