my eyes yearn to stare into yours

tomorrow i will see you
and i wonder

i wonder if you consider us
and i wonder

i wonder if you miss me
as i miss you

i wonder if you smile at the thought of me
as i do you

then i think of you, and i forget myself
i think of bringing you happiness
i think of giving you respect
i think of loving you as my sibling in Christ

i dream of falling in love with you
and i dream of being fallen on

and i wonder...

do you?

(sigh) Yes, I too wish of this, as I believe it is a virtue to love everyone as brothers and sisters in spirit, including the Holy Spirit which watches over us all and invigorates us with loves blessing! As a reader, I like the human/sibling characteristics that you give to Christ here in your poem and in your thoughts. I love how you wonder??? Good job and....

Lot of deep thought. You did a good job putting that down in writing. A thinker for many it will be.

How can God be mindful of us...He can love us unconditionally, but it's tough for us to the same. We can't please all the people all the time....but we can always pray for them.

I wonder to.
do I reach enough?
or to much?
am I a nuisance?
am I doing enough?
or too much?
do I spend too much time in prayer
and not enough in works or vice versa?
I just thank God that He has brought me so far that THESE are my concerns.
Because I know He is taking care of everything else.
