A Day after thanksgiving, Here i sit, All by myself; Yet not really, For He's right by my side. Been in the crowd, Yet not a part of it, Been happy and thankful, Yet not filled with joy deep inside. Laughter do i radiate, But in my heart of hearts, I want more... More of his love. It sounds selfish, And very ungrateful i know, But i do want more of his grace, And more joy in my life. Love have i found, But in this world its so conditional, And i've learned, That U alone O Lord, Can give me satisfaction. And that why, What i want most of all, Is a fulfillment of his many promises, And utmost peace in my soul, To keep me focused, On the prize at the end of this race called life. |
