Good Falling Again Once again we trust our souls to retrieve a welcome breeze and share the thoughtful grace of falling gold Long in time we wait for the break of struggling green and for the new humbling colors to behold Once again we rest our turning in the warmth of nature’s hands and share the brilliant life of branching red So much within to hold, blessings received and undeserved So many of our steps are gently led Once again we soften our walls to grant a walk of tranquil steps and share the aesthetic mirth of stretching orange Together our inner eyes ascend the skies as the green begins to slow and the cooling leaves become reborn Once again we inhale his breath that walks so strong in our design and share the youthful dance of wandering yellow As we shift forward through this favored change of living signs we give thanks for his grand will and flow Once again we step through common dreams that thrive within our souls and share the peace of humble hues Long in time we have waited for the returning break that falls between and for his tender mercy to pull us through Timothy Work - I apologize, I know I have been away from these posts in a long time. I hope you will still read my poem. God bless you guys - Thanx, Tim He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Nothing like fall to bring out the best poet in everyone, and I see your exposure to nature suits you well. Really nice work. Carpe' Diem |

I hope it is ok that I went back and edited out a word and changed the spacing.. guess I'm a perfectionist, which sometimes isnt good for poets to be. It can drive you crazy. Anyway thanx for the responses. God bless all of you - Tim He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Proverbs 28:26 |
