Sunrise steals my breath away,
Awed, I watch a rainbow by the bay.

I walk softly through the woods,
careful not to step on hidden flowers.             ,
Leaves are dancing in the wind
as God watches over nature’s creatures.

I rediscover life’s rhythm
In waters flowing in gurgling stream
pure and clear, and full of grace.
God’s quiet looks me in the face.

So nice.. I loved this being one that loves nature, and the outdoors. I know these feelings you wrote about. Thank you for sharing this. It's been a long time since I walked the wooded trails.
Love,
Terri~

Thanks, everyone. Been a long time since I took up pen (er, keyboard) to dash off a poem - missed the company here too.

It's all worth it, after reading all your comments.

Josefina:

this is beautiful, it reminds me
of one time I was feeling quite forlorn
sitting in my yrad, feeling thankful
for nothing . . .
when I started to hear the birds
singing and then I looked around me
at my home, my gardens, planted by my own hands . .  growing beautifully
my son, hussband and my dog and the sun
shined upon me, I swear to you
was a sign . . .

Its is amazing how God is all around us but we seldom open our eyes to see Him. Thank you for this reminder of God being so close. Wonderful poem and thank you for sharing.

The sharing is the easier part of this; composing in difficult days sometimes feel like pulling tooth..after it's pulled out (the tooth, or the words - whatever, "S"), I heave a big THANK YOU for the read.
