I look upon your face
and confusion is what I feel

my rock always the one I look to.
You are cloudy of late though
Hatred had crept in
Put myself and my thoughts
into a spin.
Lost ground, and the crying sound
within
my faith
cries out
where has it been?
Lord, I need your shelter now.
Things seem a bit out of control
But still I remember way back then
You reached out to me, and saved my soul.
I questioned you the other day
and a servent of yours said this to me
The father of lies
is telling these things.
That you've got to see.
Look back to the Lord
and read his words quite well
and as I did
I heard what you had to tell.
Your love for me is still there
even though I wasn't sure you'd still care.
This servent of yours
he is so pure
He sent me your words
they were my confusions cure.
Thank you Lord for still loving me
I lost sight, lost ground to endure
Your love came back to me
so true, and sure!

Sometimes we find ourselves on shaky ground to appreciate the stability when it does arrive, don't we? This reaching out sounded right from the heart.

Hello to both of you,

Mysteria- Thank you for commenting. This was a spiritual battle for sure. Not one I would have ever thought about coming to me, but it did. Who knows where that came from except to say one of Gods servents told me --the father of lies. Now I can see how right he was. Thanks again.

Melton- I think being weak in the Lord for a while made me open to hear in my spirit a lie. We can't be in the spirit 24/7. There are times we are human as well. Thank you so much for your understanding! Very sweet of you!

Thanks Joyce. Me, too!!!! For 2 reasons. One reason is because it showed me He is still watching my every step for my good, and the other is because it calmed my fears. I know when I don't feel His perfect love, because fear starts creeping in to my spirit.

(smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, I believe that it is natural to experience the instability at times because we are only human and constantly are learning of His love and He doesn't expect us to underatand Him all at once, just to believe in Him and have faith as we continue to embrace Him! Thank you sweet Noah. God truly is in your spirit, and that abounding. You love in spite of flaws, and dowfalls we as humans have, and will be plagued with as long as we are on this Earthly plane. We can't be perfect in an imperfect world. It just doesn't work that way..
