I wrote this poem in 1976 and since 1977 or so I didn't write any more, until recently. Tell me what you think? Thanks, mysticpoe. to enter the breezy dreams of a morning's dawn to span through life and yet not be born to spaciously ponder amongst the many lures to leave and become that once ignored to know he that came with noble chants to go and to leave and receive no thanks to be amongst that airy essence for only the dreams know of his presence. I really like the style of this.. the comparisons and just the way it flows. I like the imagery and I just think that you did a really nice job with this. The 70's eh? Nice Oh, make me Thine forever |

LoveBug, thanks for your very nice comments and especially thank you for taking the time to read the poem. Just wondering if you think the style of this poem from long ago, is like what I write today. Also, I enjoyed your 70's comment. Thanks again. mysticpoe If nothing is something |

I like the feel of this one. It reminded me of Tibetan Monks. |

Compared to your work now, the structures are smiliar, but now there is a bit more wisdom to your words. Just gets better with age Oh, make me Thine forever |

Love Bug has it right on - your style has gotten much stronger to become your own, and your words are so much wiser. Like fine wine we are and only get better with age, and wiser. I don't want to know where I am heading, it will spoil my journey. |

poe, actually this reminded me of a time when I strongly felt that presence and not only in a dream, so I thank you for the fond memory You are quite a versatile writer . . . xxoo [This message has been edited by littlewing (08-27-2003 03:26 AM).] |
