Where He Leads Me ~*Marge Tindal*~ Sometimes the path is dark but He holds the light that guides my footsteps steadily until I've reached the heights of the glory of His Kingdom~ He does not give up on me when I would give up on myself He holds my tears so tenderly when I think there's no one left Because He believes in me ... I can do no less~ He gives me others to lift in the splendor of this day As a friend it is my mission that He has asked me pay for I am not the only one in need~ When another of His children ache I am bid to seek them out He has a purpose for our paths to cross of that ... there is no doubt~ So, in taking my hand ... you also hold my heart Together we will praise Him in this friendship He has given us to share~ Lord, thank you for showing me the friend you expect me to be~ *Dedicated to some dear true friends* June 29, 2003 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Marge - SOmetimes I think we get so wrapped in working out our own spiritual well being, we tend to forget about those around us. Your poem was not only beautiful and well written, it is a cry out to God to help you touch others. I know he will bless you for this. Friends~ I appreciate the kindness of the replies~ Sometimes I feel Him call on me to take the time to be a friend to one I may have unintentionally passed by ... it is my fervent prayer that I continue to do His work through reaching out to touch others~ And in His wisdom ... He knows that when the time comes,(it always does) I will be able to reach out for those same hands in friendship's need~ Again, I so appreciate the warmth of you all~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
