God's Greatest Sorrow How God must mourn, each time He hears Another specie disappears. Although He knows where their fate lies, He cares about each thing that dies. They are all part of his creation, Made with love and jubilation. Of all the millions in His plan, His greatest sorrow must be man! We've disappointed from the start And yet, He keeps us in His heart, Just waiting patiently to see The world the way it's meant to be! Nice poem Trillium, When it comes to our creator. We really don't know the meaning of the word patience. Enjoyed. mysticpoe |

Yes, we have a ways to go. I think our pursuit of a better world begins with our pursuit of Him. Wonderful flow here, Trillium. Love, LayItDown [This message has been edited by LayItDown (06-17-2003 07:38 PM).] |

Mysteria: Thanks! It is sad that mankind is so woefully lacking in the traits God instilled in us! What a blessing that He loves us anyhow! Betty Lou Hebert |

Dear Betty you remind me of Jesus' words "Forgive them because they don't know what they do" ... Beautiful thoughts. Yes it is so comforting and even amazing how God's love embraces us, even though we humans are learning His lessons so very very slowly .... but then I think He rejoices of even our smallest steps we perform on the Path that leads to Him. Thank you. Love, Margherita |

Margherita: I know you are right about God rejoicing at any evidence we are learning what he wants us to be. Any progress is good progress I guess! Betty Lou Hebert |

Sorry for my initial remarks on this issue. Didn't mean to make light of it. Just meant your verse shared the heart and beauty of it. |

Mystic Dreamer: No need to be sorry, as no offense taken or given! Nice of you to come back again though and I appreciate your thoughtfulness! Thanks. Betty Lou Hebert |

(big hugggssssssss) And why shouldn't He pity us? We truly are the most evil species on Earth and unless we stop bending everything to our will, we will all destroy ourselves in the end! (sad sigh) It is very ndepressing, dearest friend, I can only pray for realization to come and educate all mankind, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Betty, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |

I agree. We have been given so many gifts, and we don't take care of them nearly as well as we should! Eventually I think we will learn, with God's help (and grace) but that's going to take a while. Well done, Betty Lou! ~Elizabeth Dreams last for so long, even after you're gone... |

Ain't that the truth. Sometimes I watch other people and the things that they do, and I get away from them just in case lighting strikes....people don't realize that we have strayed far from the beaten path! Thanks for sharing that one with us. I Loved It |

Excellent write. But Trillium Timothy's angel is a girl and her name is Tima. (I know you didn't know so I thought I'd help.) I did the same thing once by refering to Sy (Seymour Tabin) as a girl. It took a while to live that down. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
