Come Unto Me

Sitting in the halls of Angels
I gaze towards the Master’s throne.
In a voice gentle and low He calls to me,
“Come unto Me my child.”
“Father, I am ashamed and afraid.”
“Fear not, for I love you…come rest,
All is well.”
“Father, I cannot, my soul quakes in shame.”
“My sweet, sweet child, look into the past.
See the place called Golgotha, bow down at the foot of the Cross.
Call out to Him who was crucified.
Ask His mercy, Believe in Him.
Through His blood you have been redeemed.”

I awoke from this dream with tears streaming
Down my cheeks. Heartache and shame flood my soul.
As if, I were there my sins and guilt nailed the Innocent,
Jesus Christ, to that tree.
My eyes cannot bear to look upon that which I have done.
Still in His mercy He calls unto me,
“Come precious child, rest in Me.”
“Turn from that which seeks to destroy your soul.”
“Can you not see the ransom is paid?”
As I fall to my knees the Hand of God touches
My troubled soul and with a voice soft and low
He calls out to me,
“Come unto Me.”

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Ray, every time I hear His gentle voice speak, it gets out all in me each time I embrace Him and His edifying, soft vision! (wipes tears) Just reading this got me to tears too, sweet friend, together here we will always come unto His grace, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ray, thank you for sharing!
