My senses wake as quiet night descends. This solitude is such a welcome guest. The summer breeze is like a lonely ghost in search of kindred souls with wine to toast. Moon-sweetened tides along the shore, beckon me to graze in there as a lamb. Darkness looms like an invisible presence inspiring me to soak in Nature’s essence. Old memories can be so bitter-sweet. My deepest scars reside in secret caves, regret not I that life has been designed with multi-colored threads in dark entwined. The One who is a Weaver so divine knows every thread and color that is matched to fit into a pattern for my life gracious it may be or laced with strife. If I remember laughter in my days, I bear the hurts indelibly in my mind the tears that drench my face to wipe a smile bestow me strength to walk an extra mile. I loved the message in your poem and I too find that laughter is the best medicine for many ailments. Nicely done. |

Very poetic. Images are interesting. The yearning of your heart well expressed. May your darkness give way to much light in this season. Love, LayItDown |

(sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, laughter is the best medicine they say and I'm sure you will be seeing many comforting days ahead where the tears are golden and when you wipe them yourself with your own hands you can see the light through that keyhole of your heart! (big hugggsssssss) This is beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Josefina, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |
