I sit here in complete silence, Why does life get harder? Maybe we’re not supposed to understand Life’s meaning, but a friend is forever, life is short. Why do we always rejoice when someone passes? But, everyone cries when a baby is born? Why, Lord, can’t I find the answers to these questions? Am I selfish to think life is supposed to be this way? I know life holds a certain purpose, Lord, please help me find these answers? In my heart’s secret chamber, Each of you live on… Your memories I shall hold forever. Why do I feel so guilty? I haven’t said goodbye. Even though I can feel my pain, I can’t express how I feel. My heart weeps in grievous sorrow, Tears flow like spring rains. I close my eyes at night, I want to cry. My heart just aches, Why did you have to go? Now I stand alone, Just your memory lingers on. Never again will I feel your Hand on my shoulder or look across the room To feel the security of just knowing you were there. How I miss your smile And the laughter in your eyes There was an empty place At Heaven’s table, God called you home one-by-one. Like leaves on a tree Our days are numbered. From the budding of life in spring, To the quiet solace of winter’s first snow, Some day when at last my journey is over I will rejoin you all in a place Of eternal peace and rest. for those who have read this, i am sad to say our dear friend, Stephanie H. passed away a few years back...i don't remember the exact date but i know in my heart she is "Home"...God bless You Stephanie...we miss You. your friend, jusbaloo |

I am sad to hear that the author of this beautiful and poignant poem has passed on, but probably as she says she is now with all of those loved ones she missed so much. And it is comforting to know that she too is remembered with love by you, your friend jusbaloo. Thank you for letting us know.
