Within His Realm We never really know, each day, What life is going to bring our way. No matter how the morning starts, We may wind up with broken hearts. One second,can create defeat And leave years lying, incomplete. Can change the paths our feet have trod, To bring us closer, still, to God. He is the One we call upon, Whenever all our dreams are gone. He helps us resurrect our role Within His Realm and heals our soul. He gives us strength to carry out Our destiny, there is no doubt! I had a sense of the concept of destiny as I read your poem...even before I came to the last line. You express well how God can be relied upon to shelter us from, what would otherwise be, the utter disaster of poor choices. Love, LayItDown |
