Everyone cries Everyone screams Everyone dies Everyone dreams The whole world knows But they’ll never proceed Their ignorance shows As they fall and they bleed It’s times like this that make it real So close, so far, don’t let me go Lucifer’s wrath, the pain we feel Day by day, they need to know The words we speak Shout loud and clear The sinners we seek Need know and hear To hold the truth To know it well To be in youth To break the shell A promise so known The prophecy’s done The path has been shown Now we are the ones The world a solemn sinners cry To hear the mute murmur of shame A silent word to speak and sigh To silence whispers of the one we blame The world we know Must change someday And as the wind will blow He will show the way To hold up high To sing a song To live and die To carry on |
