Come and See

I was walking one day
when I stopped by a man.
He asked me what path I was taking?
I replied This path was cut by own hands.
I cannot tell where I am walking,
nor give you any direction.
Why you ask would a blind man
make a path for himself?
He would surely lose his way,
and stumble along that road.
I know I have many times.
He said, Why not seek some help?
Who would you recommend? I asked.
For aren't we all born blind?
Yes, the man said, but there was born
unto us a child of sight.
And he says to COME and follow Him
I believe He knows
the true and straight path.
He says he can show us the Father,
and give us sight.
To lead us into all truth.
Has he given you sight? I asked.
Yes, He has and He wants to give it to you too.
Take me to Him I beg you.
I am tired of going nowhere.
