Palm Sunday A million prayers beat on Your ears, You've wiped a thousand million tears, And sent Your angels to protect The seven we did not expect To see again this side of Heaven. You kept them safe, our beloved seven. We awakened on this Palm Sunday; Our thoughts 2000 years away, To time when You were facing death, Blessing this world with dying breath. Today once more the palm leaves wave, In acknowledgement that God can save. From triumph to that black Friday, We follow as you wend your way. Suffering Your every wound and blow, We walk with You as on You go, From dark despair to bright glory; Our rescued one more Easter story. Their suffering we don't yet know, Their loved ones felt each hurtful blow. The lesson taught so long ago Is happiness can follow woe, If we remember God is King And triumphs over everything. Please change our enemies to friends And guide us as this wartime ends. May Easter bring the joy of peace, Our love for You and man increase. Let us not in happiness forget. The many who are sorrowing yet. We've proven we're the side with might. Please keep us on the side that's right. (big hugggssssss) I too am praying that this war can finally end and we can work to create freedom and peace now and hold righteous to the doctrines He teaches us! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, thank God the prisoners were found safe, may we pray for both America's soldiers, Iraq's soldiers, and all else involved in this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton And that's the most wonderful thing about creating. It will always be a mystery. |
