i curl my fingers around this hope amazed at how small it has become and wonder if i go back to square one i will find solutions for what is now i know the answer is not in yesterday but in what tomorrow promises and i clasp my memories tinged with my small hope and find peace in knowing that it is not God in his heaven but God in me that counts with this small hope i have the calm to revisit square one, smile today and greet whatever tomorrow brings my tiny faith is my serenity my center not in events as they unfold nor the people clattering through my world but in the reality that God in me is always enough |

You are so right, the fact that he lives in you will always see you through and bring hope. Nicely worded.

(sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, He lives in all as a sparrow in the birdhouses of our souls and will warble always and help us to see the spring blessings bestowed upon us! (big hugggsssssss) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! As you have referenced small hope and tiny faith here in your poem, I am strongly reminded of how having faith but as small as a mustard seed has the peculiar ability to move mountains. I have no problem believing that your perceived small hope and tiny faith will be and is already more than sufficient to bring you and your family successfully through whatever current circumstance that you may be going through and have asked for prayer to resolve. My favorite line of your poem is: "that it is not God in his heaven but God in me that counts" This line alone speaks to me of faith beyond tiny or small and confirms in my spirit that you, my friend, have a most awesome hope and faith as well as a wonderful personal relationship with your God who can most definitely move any mountain that may stand in your way. (Amen) God bless you. -Bob |

God in me that counts - isn't this comforting to know. Well said. Jesus lives in my heart! |

abbe, I think your "tiny faith" is bigger than you think. Little things have a way of growing up. Genuine humility will some times cause us to be the last to know we are moving on. Love, LayItDown |
