Three Mountain Tops By Larry Chadwick Hope you enjoy the collection of poems I found that I wrote in 1993! Here is one. This was a sermon concept presented by Dwight Nelson. Aaron rebelled against God’ command, At the waters near the promised land. He did not know what justice God had in store, But he obeyed and went up to die on Mount Hor. Moses also did not follow God’s plan, When at the waters he defied God’s command. To the promised land he was not allowed to go, Instead God summoned him to die on Mount Nebo. We have rebelled against what God said we should have done, But the penalty for our rebellion has been paid by His Son. For Jesus willingly gave His life for you and me, When He climbed a third mountain and died on Calvary. We are not worthy to see God fact to face, Yet we have been saved by His outrageous grace. God’s love sent His Son from heaven above, You can’t call that anything but relentless love. March 25, 1993 If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Larry, this is so very true, and so many times have those been unsure of where to go and He told them to climb the Advent Mountain and there Elijah learned that everything was God and he was alone with Him and that is why he was told to climb that whole time, to understand such that wonderful grace! (sigh) This is wonderfully said, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Bridgette, Thank you very much. This was one of my earliest poems. There is a version of it co-written that is better, but I can't find it. Oh well much appreciated. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Very profound how great men of old where called up to the top of a mountain to die and how we are called up to the top of a mountain today to die to our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior who took the place of our sin on the top of the mountain called Calvary. Again, very very profound poetry here. God Bless. -Bob |
