Pain, it wraps up a coward with fantasy
And teaches fear to the living from infancy
Its a measure of endurance for obstacles to sway
Will you let it get in your way
The answers No of course

Down inside, do you feel my pride
Where the demons hide, from another side
To turn the tide, where hearts abide
For a joyous ride, that leaves the Father in heaven
and Christ denied
For an eternity born and bred for nothing buy pain...

When it stings, burns, and hurts and you bleed
Know there's wisdom inside with a lesson you need
Saying, "Don't do that" "You'll know what to do next time"
Is your eternal soul really worth that dime?
This life is a short ride

Pain, will you make your mark?
Pain, will it steal your spark?
Pain, this life has part
Pain, was with you from the start, and will never depart
Unless Christ resides in your heart, till the day it stops,
and the glory of your eternal paradise will start

Hurt will only be this first life's lullaby
Remembered after the taste of death's goodbye
(for some)
But an agonized abode for the greatest lie
Made known once the wicked die

The pain of the cross is our example, Kenneth.
Take heart, dear friend,

I always have time for you...

There are two dominant forces at work in our world.
We must decide where our own "hearts abide".
