Oh Lord, I fail You again Oh Lord, I fail You once again And I get lost in my sin Oh Lord, Oh Lord, I have failed You once again Crumbling inside I know a piece of me has died True and faithful friend for the blame and the shame where do I begin? My story's of pleasures in sinful throes and in pride and lust my blood guilt grows True and faithful friend help me find the strength to break away from this end Oh Lord, I fail you again Oh Lord, I fail you once again And I get lost in my sin Oh Lord, Oh Lord, I have failed you once again When I tell my story of the sharp needles and nails I prick and tear my soul by massive true form scales For the shame my skin starts to freeze, and guilt and pain drop me to my knees To Lord God above I ask that You take these needles and nails My head does a shake to break from the painful painful flails To Lord God above I ask You to take these needles and nails Oh Lord... Oh Lord... My pain, shame, and misery Really Lord, really Lord is it all because of me? In and out with this life and I have to trust to be free Here I'm alive and I'm feeling the guilt of immoral poverty The pain of a life of lies grows and never never dies To see the war within just take a look into my eyes and hear the silent cries The silent cries The silent cries Oh Lord... Oh Lord... My sin, shame, and misery Really Lord, really Lord will you blood set me free? The pain inside still grows and from behind the mask it shows (And) Consciously this pain here does leave me exposed What you see inside is a mass confusion of woes Hear this the pain inside only Jesus can repair and knows And its by the blood He gave death and immoral sin can be laid in its grave And its by the blood He gave death and immoral sin can be laid in its grave Death and immoral sin can be laid in its grave Death and immoral sin can be laid in its grave Oh Lord... Oh Lord... My sin, shame, and misery Really Lord, really Lord its by and through Your blood my praise will be |
