 My Angel You rise with dawn and spread your wings over my horizon. My Angel, my morning sun! You walk with me through the day, watching my steps with loving eyes. With the tender touch of your devotion, you silently guide my wandering, my freedom's dance. You lift me up into your caring arms when my hurrying feet touch dangerous ground. You take over the command and steer me safely through impervious tracks, while I indulge in day-light dreams. My vividly sparkling Heavenly mate, in hours of sadness I picture your smile. Sweet is the awareness of my fate. Never will I feel lost in the dark or lonely, for I know your soothing touch of Love brings back the Light into my heart. In gratitude I sing this song of praise for you my wondrous Divine guide, you bearer of joy and peace. And when I close my eyes I fully trust you are never far. In your compassionate arms I rest. Lady Ayla, thank you for your comment on this "old" poem of mine. I discovered just accidentally that you replied to this one and I read it again and found I feel exactly like this still. We DO have an Angel watching over us, each of us, I am positive. Our Angel wants to be called into our service. Why do bad things still happen, especially to children, even though we hold them in prayer? There are imponderable mysteries, but I do trust there is a reason for everything, even if we can't understand with our limited understanding in our human form. This poem really touched my heart. I love to read anything spiritual. I'm really inspired mayhaps I shall try my hand at poetry. (my forte is visual art, but I do enjoy writing and reading I joined so I could read and comment my friends poems) |

To receive the grace of your angel all you must do is ask. Then there will be that soft voice telling you what needs to be done in order to receive that blessing. Call it intuitive wisdom or divine intervention, whenever we get on our knees and ask for guidance in one way or another we will receive it. I like to call it the power of submission. |
