The ocean is a wrinkled teal sheet gilded by sunrise, whitecaps of waves washing ashore like sheer glass curtains. Beyond the seas, lies a horizon of endless mountains hugging the cliffs, an enticing mirage, so flawless against the blue white of sky and clouds when a breeze comes to ruffle the trees, light patterns shift like floating water over the earth’s pastoral vista. My soul looks down on my hungry heart my mind searches in supplication to the Almighty One, Creator of this pure and wondrous universe silent, I gaze at His handiwork feeling small and insignificant. Yet I dare to think I am special He, my Lord in His omnipotence has deigned to fashion me. I collapse to my knees to worship and adore.

jjote, precious is the Almighty one, Creator! You "gaze at His handiwork ...." And I ponder and wonder over His marvellous work. The heaven's declaring the glory of God, for all to see! Thanks for sharing this lovely poem, jjote!
