So true Marge. Daddy and Mommy too need to know that showing is better than telling. Very nice. Joyce |

Friends~ Thank you all so much ... As I watched my son, arms held wide ... waiting for my granddaughter, Delaney ... eager to take her first steps .... this graphic came to mind ... the 'words' are just what I think a little one would someday say~ I appreciate each of you~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Delaney is walking? Yikes, Auntie Marti and Uncle Ronnie can't believe she has grown that much! Great job of this ... as usual. Hugs, Marti |

Marge, As grownups, we do need to slow down at times to let the little ones catch up to our fast pace of life and to show them lovingly how to walk upright. This poem is also very characteristic, I beleive, with our walk with our Heavenly Father who does not leave us nor forsake us, but lovingly walks right beside us. Amen. Again, good job and God bless you and yours. -Bob |

Dear Marge, As usual, full marks for your work. This unfortunately is a sad memory for me, I was unable to sit down and talk with my father until I was 26. I did follow in his foot steps, but they were not of the best example and I am grateful I was able to get off the path and follow a new road. One thing positive I can say, was my father had more "good" common sense than any person I have ever met. Some people may not call him brilliant, but he had a great sense of humor and wit along with a sense of keeping it simple. |

Marge~ Wonderful words and thoughts. Her world is growing everyday and i'm sure her father and you will guide her along the way. My grandson is approaching this learning time also, he is starting to crawl and each day he goes a little further...Paul "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" |

This is lovely **** I had the blessings of a father who had nothing, but gave us everything. He gave 150% of himself to his children but I don't know that we ever thanked him properly **** if I could send this skywards to him I would. Thank you. |

Not only does this symbolize the emotions between a child and the earthly father, but also between us and our Heavenly Father. Sometimes things get so hectic we just want to say slow down so I can follow what you show me. Now that I am confusing myself lol, let me just say that this is a beautiful piece of your heart! Can not wait to read more of your work! It's not the load that breaks you down, it's the way you carry it. ~ Lena Horne |
