Not such a bright one this time Give me my dose of my holy cocaine Without it I feel I am going insane The heroin that I can get from "the Lord" Is all that I need for not to be bored Narcotics from Heaven, a joint from above By taking it in, I simulate love I don't want to live a life that is deep Or filled with distractions, no I want to sleep So give me my shot of the drugs that I crave And let it accompany me to my grave Just have to comment on this one... It's all about getting to know God for who He is... Not merely seeking a "touch" or a "kick" and use it as narcotics. Sometimes all we crave is another touch or another shot... Oh, and I'd appreciate harsh critics |

I spent years on hard shots, of anything and everthing. Can't say that this write brought anything new to my experience. It was only after I walked away from all that, That I found power for real. Jason |

I know nothing about hard drugs I have the kind of system that doesn't But I think of narcotics as phony and God's help is so real. Joyce |

That's the point guys... If I don't seek God for real, what's left is only like drugs... Like the unreal experiences that kills us... |

(big hugggsssssss) Some people can either believe in Him and His existence and claim such magic and what you don't see can be believed, or some prefer to be junkies and work too hard to try and get a sign when He is always listening! (sigh) You speak of this so well sweet friend, I am zero-tolerant on all drugs and will never know what it feels like to have them in the system but I too think they are phony in comparison to believing, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Andreas, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

For me, your poem gives to me some deeper meaning and respect for the verse that reads that we must taste and see that the Lord is good. (Amen) It's a fact that a person cannot Truly be a cocaine or drug addict without ever consuming cocaine or narcotics nor can a person be an alcoholic if they've never consumed alcohol... and so it is that I believe, and I think that this is also the point that your poem makes, that no one can Truly be a Christian or a Jesus addict without having first tasted and consumed what I believe to be the most marvelously pure presence of Jesus Christ's Spirit in their lives. Great poem. -Bob |
