Delivered This life I live I freely give In reverence to the King, Who shows me how to humbly bow, And receive His blessing. Forgiveness shines upon a soul, Once floundering and dim, And redefines its earthy roll To light found within Him. As by God’s word the Spirit grows, And guides me to this path. …To stand assured sweet mercy flows, And saves me from His wrath. …To bear good fruit, a branch in need, The Lord my vine and strength. Now taking root, to spread the seed In Word and works, at length. It defies human character To master one’s own tongue. I realize too, with every slur What sorrows mine has wrung. But now I sing, with God in thought, Of divine principle… Of Christ, our King, in whom we’re taught… Uphold the golden rule: Love your brothers as yourselves and Lord God with all your heart. Share with others and understand Compassion plays its part. For the dumb speak and the deaf hear, With light shone from above, When what we seek we have appear – The fullness of His love. With all turmoil set to the side, Given this second chance; Let it not spoil with greed, not pride, But mark deliverance… From woe and envy, sloth and lust, Anger and gluttony, That we as men, but ashe and dust, Might be forever free. With but a nod, let yes be yes, And let your no be no! …Knowing that God will surely bless You everywhere you go. That we might look upon His face, Come the Day of the Lord… Named in his book, by love and grace, Share in our timeless reward. Michael Anderson |

You bless us and glorify Him with these grateful and compassionate words. This is the perfect ending for my day... thank you!! |
