Mother's Soup

Once, when I was just a boy,
my Mother made it plain;
No matter what you do in life,
bring honor to your name.

To lie and cheat is easy,
but a time will always tell;
the day of final judgement,
it will get you sent to Hell.

A place where boiling supper,
is served in flaming bowls;
and glowing right beside them,
is the lying cheating souls.

We both know you'll try your best,
to make me out a liar;
but you will find,no peace of mind,
with you butt on fire.

The only way to warn a liar
is catch him in the act;
and prove beyond all reason,
that now,his lie, is fact.

And as to all your cheating,
it counts double, don't you see?
cause you must lie, to cause a cheat,
and then, remember me.

I wish that you would listen,
and I hope you even try;
to live your life with honor,
at the judgement you'll know why.

So take this as a warning,
you will reap just what you sow;
but don't complain about the soup,
just have another bowl.
