(Psalm 137) The weeping willow bowed down to the ground to hear the sound of singing. There's no sound!!! For there I weep, when Zion I recalled had hung her harp to listen for the fall -- Commanded, "Sing!" I could not sing at all in foreign lands where singing is appalled!!! Lord, may I not e'er play this harp again if I forget my Love, Jerusalem, But, may I yet be stricken with great joy to think that one day soon she'll be destroyed; The harlot of the street will soon be gone, "Set Free!!!" Will sing our praises and our songs!!! ... and we'll be free at last from Babylon. -Lighthouse Bob [This message has been edited by Lighthousebob (03-22-2003 05:57 AM).] |

Dear Bob, This is a wonderful offering this morning. I know you are feeling the same horror as am I at the destruction it has taken to bring justice to the powerless people in Irak. My only hope is that it is a lessons for other would be dictators and I know we can expect retaliation in our own land for years to come. Joyce |

"Lord, may I not e'er play this harp again if I forget my Love, Jerusalem" What a beautiful piece. I know that this is meant to reflect the plight of the Iraqis, but it makes me think of the people in Israel as well, being oppressed by hatred and terrorism. This is being added to my library... thank you for posting it! Oh, make me Thine forever |

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, true freedom is never found in war and I think the Bush Administration should be ashamed of themselves, I pray the innocent down there in Iraq can escape this modern Babylon as my prayers are with them all they can finally find "true" freedom! (sad sigh) This is well-said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
