This poem is free verse, and maybe it should have been posted in dark but this is how my relationship with Jesus feels so I posted it here... ---------------------------------------------- I've heard about your love And the miracles, and your teachings The grace you've always shown Why do they reject me? Dub me a "looser"? Turning their cheeks But I never slapped the first one This festering bruise Perhaps it is you? You always want my worship And you always want more More than I can give You've shut yourself up to me I want to see your love Staring up at the night sky The clouds and the moon... Thinking of you and feeling dead I feel dead I feel apart I'm not enough for you Does she pray, or am I prey? |
