Dream God came to me Last night in a dream He picked me up By my invisible wing He said my child I love you still Remember always I am real He set me back down And kissed my head Trust in my always Is what he said I know what I do I open a door But don't ever question Why or Wherefore You need not to know The reasons behind Let me love for you Be a simple remind Everything I make Belongs to me And when it is time I will set free It may seem to soon You might get upset But please do know this You aren't meant to know yet He then flew away Like a cloud of dust I fell back asleep Not knowing why must For more poems visit my website at www.wordsbybeth.com |
