Hi. This is my first post and I can't wait. I'm glad I found my way here. I feel I'm in a good place. Thanks I said… I closed my eyes and heard no sound. I felt the darkness close around. I thought of life so full of sin. I could not fight the fear within. Then I awoke with morning light, I must have slept all through the night. Another day was all I said, And if I could I’d stay in bed. With little hope I could see, I asked God to find the good in me. And if you are the one you claim, Tell me why to earth I came. And God said… I love you so I gave you life. I helped you make it through the night. I taught you love so you could see, That good is how your life must be. And if by faith your love is true, Forgiveness and mercy I will give to you. I’ll turn your darkness into light, There is no sin we cannot fight. I Am all I say I Am. Creator of each earth bound man. Mothers, daughters, every one, I gave forgiveness through my son. Believe in me, I’ll save your soul. Only I can make you whole. Who you are your heart will show. All you do in life I know. All I ask will live in you. You’ll be good in all you do. Then when life comes to its end, You will be with me again. And I said… Thank you father, Holy Spirit and Son, I’ll be with you when my life’s done. In my room that waits for me, All your glory I will see. In the Spirit, Whippoorwill |

Hi everyone, thank you so much for replying to my poem. As always, it is not me who writes, I was inspired by the Holy Spirit. I first called this poem 'are you talking to me'. You see I've come a long long way. I absolutely have found a place where I am able to believe and share. One question, I would like to have a signature but I cannot find my way there. I have read many poems, they are from gifted people. In the spirit, Whippoorwill p.s Now I am going to read some poems. The breath of God and the breath of a human comingled creates holy poetry. Whippoorwill - WOW! I would love to have this in song. It is very beautiful and for it to be your first post - WOW! I too am fairly new here and have only posted a few times. Welcome to Passions, to Spiritual Journeys, and I do agree with you that I think also that this is a pretty good place to hang out and to post your poetry. To answer your question about adding a signature, you need to Change your Profile by Clicking Here!!! ... and then make your desired addition in the signature section. I agree with all of the above replies that state that this is a Fine frist post or even a Great post from someone who has been around for awhile. (That's why I voted) There were two points that stood out for me personally and that was the expressed Love of God toward you and that the Father, Holy Spirit, and the Son all spoke to you with one voice. I so much believe this to be true for they are, I believe, One in Body, Spirit, Mind, and in Voice. Glory to God, thank you for life. Thank you Father for loving me and seeing what lives within my heart. Love. Thank you sweet Jesus, my redeemer and my true friend and protector. Thank you Holy Spirit for showing what I need to know. You have taught me to love my neighbor more than anything else, and love myself enough to accept that others love me also. Thank you beautiful gifted poets for voting this poem to be in a book, right along side with yours. The greatest poetry ever written. Thank You Ron Thank you Mysteria Thank you everyone.
