I once found something that made sense But I heard fools always believe In their naive state of mind Every lie working a way to deceive True others believed the stories And I had hope with all my heart That the wise man's words were true But doubt twisted me and contort My hope was broken among the thorns An empty feeling took its place People casting their shame Leaving me a target in disgrace Where are my broken shards? Where is that forsaken hope I need some refugee Some words to help me cope |

This is the first time I have read any of your poetry. I really don't feel qualified to comment on your poem. It seems as if it talks about a place within you, that you are questioning. Only you know what that is. |
