The color glass shines down on the holy ground While the rafters hold their place I feel a sense of not belonging here Have I fallen this far from Grace? The angelic statues stare through stone eyes Reminding me all of my secret shame Though their lips are still I feel all their blame. Have I refused my chance at paradise? Just to be left in the darkness I embraced Do they forsaken my being like I did His? Am I to be that easily erased? |

Nice poem. We've all felt this way at times, but it's us who've covered our eyes like a toddler, thinking God no longer sees us. He sees us all the time. God bless, Rae |

Where is God now? I'd say, He is still at the same place. "Just to be left in the darkness I embraced." You don't have to. For there is a light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of Thy people Israel." St.Luke 2 V32. That is Jesus. Try seek after Him, and do according to His words; and you'll no longer have to be embracing the dakness. God Bless you, thanks for the poem. Booky1940! |
