(Reposted from several years ago.) The President's Plea The world is large, Lord and my ears so small. Can I be sure it's You whom I hear call? The angry voices make a terrible din. Please soften them and let Your own come in. The world's fate may depend upon my choice. Open my ears and let me hear Your voice. 9/22/01 by: Joyce |

(big hugggssssss) Mikhail Gorbachev was known for saying the following: "Jesus was the first socialist, the first to seek a better life for mankind." (sad sigh) He looked unto others who were starving, without faith, without a home, and He looked upon those who were weak and helped them with the Golden Rule and encouraging to love Thy neighbor and treat others as they deserve to be treated! Sadly I don't see this in many of our leaders now, like Bush, and I feel we need leaders that are capable of understanding love and peace and again bring these ethics into focus rather than through hatred and war that is bigotry and ridiculous! (sad sigh) My heart prays for the world, sweet friend, let's hope soon our leaders can love like our Father, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Joyce.. what a wonderful prayer. I am confident that this president is in touch with who God is and listens for His voice. I pray that it will always be so, in these times. This is getting added to the library! Oh, make me Thine forever |

Regardless of when this was written, it's ever current and no doubt a form of the prayer we ought be saying for our leaders, especially now. Thanks for bringing this back. Thank you also for your kind response to my writing, "When God Doesn't Answer Yes" |

Hi Friends. So glad to say you are all still writing. My electricity was off from 9 pm Wednesday to just now Friday morning. I had to leave home, no heat no hot food. My sister took pity on me. Love, Joyce |
