When oil painting gets old, We shift the scene by painting another layer. When children have bad days, They seek candies and teddy bears. We...we tend to shift our focus, When something worse than flat mood Is dragging us down... Sometimes we just need spaces, To escape from daily stress. And somehow some will be lost In their exile. Sometimes we want to get lost, Want to jump of building of reality. ...And a little personal space Isn't too much...to ask for. Yet knowing exile solve not the problem, When we are finally awaken Pain will start all over again... I once heard that To win over fear, To win over pain, We all need to Face the real world, To cut the root Of the poison source. ~Every girl has a dream within. I'm not sure what your poison source is, but the real world can be tough too. Joyce |

what I mean is to cut of the real source of pain by facing the problem. But I should be the least to have a say in this, since Since I procrasinate on the web, Drunk in the mighty ink, Addicted to selfishness, I...I shall not give advices ~Every girl has a dream within. |

I like your examples of the painting and of the children... I think both of these are very true. Children's lives are so much simpler than grow-up lives. It takes so much less to make them happy... a candy or a teddy bear. (Big Smiles) Our heavenly Father certainly does have a much harder time satisfying our needs... But, he does know much much better than what we do what is best for us and sometimes in those quiet times of "Exile," as you've described, it is in that very place and at that very time when and where God gives to us the direction that we so need for our real life living. Reminds me that, sometimes, we just need to be still and watch the salvation of our God. (Amen) Again, very good, descriptive, true to life, and heart felt poetry. Thank you, my poet friend, for sharing. -Bob |

(sigh) Oh Eliza, this is so very true, sweet friend, on the other hand, my childhood was very depressing and dismal and now it is easier for me now and I am living proof that when we swim through the problem, daunted as we may, we come out on the other shore with a profound feel of courage and faith, an epiphany, and exiled only from the grayer shades! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eliza, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
