When God Doesn't Answer "Yes" How often we've earnestly prayed our request Disappointed when God didn't answer, "Yes." Our faith in Him then, perhaps waned Feeling our prayers had been in vain Remember when Jesus, in prayer, asked If it be possible let this cup pass? Because The Father didn't say, "Yes" We're given eternal happiness Next time we pray for an answer Trust the wisest to come from our Father So if He doesn't answer, "Yes" Perhaps others, through you, He'll bless |

AMEN! So often we think we know whats right. And we pray to God telling Him what to do. Or we ask, but expect the answer to be a Yes. God knows whats right, glad to see this, and glad you understand too. Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |

"So if He doesn't answer, "Yes" Perhaps others, through you, He'll bless" Indeed! We must learn to be selfless like He was, and we will be blessed as well, through these blessings that God gives others. Oh, make me Thine forever |

Welcome back and let me first say that I am very glad that my poem has brought to you and yours some comfort through your grieving times... I am also very glad that you have found the time and the spiritual strength to return and to express your continued faith and love for God and His plan for your and yours lives. I have learned from your poem that no matter how difficult, even life threatening, God's answers may be for us to accept, keeping in perspective your recent loss and how it applies to your poem shared here, that we can and must maintain a most deep and innermost trust, faith and devotion to the answers that God has given to us be it yes or no to our own desires. Again, Welcome back, my friend, and it is a true blessing and a tribute to your faith to see you back and to see you posting once again. God bless you and yours. -Bob |

(big hugggsssssss) This is beautiful, sweet friend, yes, all we must do is ask but He already knows the blessing He bestows upon you is inevitable; we only ask to know we care and believe in him as we pay homage and our love to Him! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is a wonderful prayer, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

I'm inclined to believe that God does answer us more than we admit to. Sometimes his 'silence' is the answer we need and then again sometimes we are so busy pushing when we should be pulling and sometimes we just don't quiet down enough to truly listen. One way or another though all is answered. Very nice writing. |

I like this poem as it hits on our misconceptions of God. As most of you seem to be of the christian persuasion I'll use Jesus as an example. He called God "our father", interesting because when we ask our earthly father to do something and he says "no" That too is an answer. Great poem, great concept. Seth |

Very nice. He always answers our prayers, but we don't always get what we want, we get what He knows we need! Hugs for Peace, Marti Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts. A.Einstein |
