Silence
Is peaceful
Wonderful
Ecstatic
Full of......something.......nothing?

Silence
Lets us know the truth
Lets our spirit be free
Gives meaning to our lives
In it we can be complete

Silence
Is Heaven on Earth
With our mind as the gateway
To eternal bliss

Unorthodox maybe, but I grow on you.

As I read your piece, "Be still, and know that I am God," kept running through my mind.  Just as you said the quiet time gives our minds time to consider the spiritual essence of life.
