Gravestones are hidden by snow today
signaling hope of reprieve on its way.
Arise with the frosty melt of spring.
Soar with returning friends of wing.

Unforgiving fog hid the moon last night
relieving stars of their sentry plight.
Sleep well nightly diamond guide.
Lead us tomorrow to the other side.

Shadow cast over loving hearts,
rivers freed of their persistent flow,
autumn flowers,
winter trees.
Storm clouds haunting life below.

Nothing is amiss, this is for you.

Rise for us.
Shine for us.

All returns with Spring morning dew.
