MYSTIFIED

Mystified by love
I am mystified by your love
I can't captivate it
Wondering if I need it now
I watch you play your instrument
I watch you sing your songs
You never cease to amaze me
I don't know if I belong
Knew the love of Jesus once
He seems so far away
If only someone would show me
I think I could change my ways.
Put the lord first in my life
The mystery would suddenly change
love you right in Gods sight
He would finally bless our ways
I'm mystified by your love
it seems I don't have God today
I know he never left me
Those are foolish things to think, to say
For if you read Galations chapter 5
Have faith to continually pray
The puzzle will work it own self out
Its by grace that we will be saved
I'm mystified by your love
I know now I don't have to change
As long as I have love in my heart
I must let Jesus pave the way.
I already know he died on the cross
It was then that he set me free

Jody5: Judging from your poem "Mystified." Inspite of who may, or may not love you - It's good that you know something - you know that Jesus loves you - and He died that you may be saved. That's good!!!! Booky1940

Your poem is beautiful! I really like where you speak about not having to change yourself...it reminded me how God meets us right where we are, no matter where we are, and loves us the same. His love really is mystifying...
