Written for my friend SPIRIT whose favorite word is Codswallop. ‘Codswallop’ Codswallop? Codswallop? Now, what could that be? I wonder do cods wallop under the sea? If I'm not too careful, They could wallop me!! And then I'd be smelling like fish, Don't you see? My flesh has gone crazy And SPIRIT's gone weak, I hope she codswallops me on the left cheek. After all, now, dear SPIRIT, It's 'codswallop' I speak. -Lighthouse Bob |

Nonsense indeed. Such a fun word. My dad used it a lot when we were growing up "That's a lot of Codswallop" he'd say. I have used it since a child, leaves a lot of people scratching their heads. Fun post. Thank you. I be me BUT who does me be? |

Okay! I got it, it means nonsense - put a smile on my face this one. I'm a reader - not a writer. |

(giggles in delight) Hehehe, I too love that word too, I always love to learn new words and the ones that have a bouncy pronunciation really are candy to me, yay! (big hugggsssssss) This is very creative, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

And so poets play fun games, reinventing fun words, never mind that the world is getting crazy with their own war games. This is fun. |

Hey, I think SPIRIT might have started a new trend here with this her favorite word that her father used to say when she was a child. 'Codswallop' certainly seems to be making a great comeback here at least. I've been saying it as well and people that I've shared it with seem to love the sound of it and there certainly seems to be a lot of opportunity to say it in that there is a whole lot of 'codswallop' going on around us in the world today. THANKS SPIRIT!!!! This is a GREAT word for sure. GOD Bless. -Bob |
