Walk the Talk (A Riddle) The coals that burn no longer churn But yearn and turn the pages Within the soul wherein made whole Might walk the talk of ages. God bless, Lighthouse Bob |

Bob, just taking a guess at decoding your riddle. In the world, the pure truth is not the dominant force. But if we seek it, it will make us whole and guide us into everlasting peace. |

I love this! My take would be: no longer burning and churning with guilt and/or confusion. Yearning to please our Savior, we allow Him to live through us as we turn time's pages of loving, ageless biblical instruction. Rae |

Josh and Rae, Thank you for both of your Wonderful Wonderful interpretations of this poem (riddle). You were both correct in that much of this poem (riddle) is focused on not only the one or the Red Hot Believer (the coals that burn no longer churn) seeking or having a deep deep hunger (yearning) for the pure truth or ageless biblical instruction or the Word of God (the pages), but, also, allowing it to become a part of one’s inner most being or to be a part of one’s “soul” and in so allowing will make one “whole” or allow one to have everlasting peace or to overcome all guilt and/or confusion so that one may yearn to please one’s Savior or allow one to “walk” with it or do a work with it of which so many many have been “talking” about doing with it for “ages” or for soooooo soooooo many many many years. In short, this poem (riddle) is a proclamation of my Faith in the Believer of today. God bless you both and, again, thank you (Thank You) for your Wonderful Wonderful interpretations. -Bob [This message has been edited by Lighthousebob (08-22-2007 12:35 PM).] |

Oh, I''m sorry that I did not see this before you gave the answer but as I was reading it I imagined turning the pages of the Bible. Love your inspirational and faith prodding messages. Joyce |
