Each Time I Kneel To Pray Each Time I kneel to pray, I thank God for yesterday, all he's ever done for me, the stronger person he's helped me be, Each Time I kneel to pray, I thank God for today, he's taught me to believe in life, been there for every trial, every strife, Each Time I kneel to pray, I thank God for everyday, I pray for those who need a prayer, those who need someone there, Each Time I kneel to pray, I never run out of things to say. Next Challenge: What I wish I'd have done ~fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me~ |

Krysti, You did good at writing this poem and meeting Joyce's challenge. Good job! I really liked the progression of your poem (i.e. yesterday, today, and everyday) because it demonstrates to me that we do need to be Thankful to God all the time and my favorite line that brought a smile to my face was ... "the stronger person he's helped me be" ... well, I never thought of thanking Him for that, but I suppose it is a good thing that we are strangers to this land, because (it's true) we are just passing through. Amen. Again, nice poem and God bless, -Bob |

oooops!!! I see the mistake I made here. It's that small print. It gets me every time. Instead of stronger person (with an "o", I thought that you wrote stranger person (with an "a". My mistake, but, hey, both words work fine for me. Big Smiles. -Bob |
