I came upon and re-read this poem that I wrote back in 2002 and it encouraged me and I hope that it will encourage you too.

Today

Each subtle word of knowledge,
Each simple promise made,
Each gentle breeze that blows the trees
and shines light through the shade,
Each "Glory Hallelujah!"
Each sinner brought to Christ,
Each Saint endowed to reach the crowd
with good deeds love enticed,
Each moment when you're sleeping,
Each warm and gentle touch,
Each spoken rhyme that says through time,
"I've loved you-- Oh, so much,"
Each flicker in the night-watch,
Each dream made into light,
Each prayer that's heard without a word
and bids your soul good-night,
Each foreseen hope for future,
Each memory of your past,
Each day you wake without mistake
GOD's saved your best for last.
