Hope For All My hope is in The Lord, my God, who rules earth the with an Iron Rod, Even over all those who proclaim, they don’t revere my Savior’s name. But friend, as The Sovereign Lord, Christ, by them will not be ignored, For every knee, with a smile or frown, before The Lord, will bow down. However with confidence we report, the arm of God is never too short, To reach down into a desperate life, with the Salvation of Jesus Christ. The Lord rules across every land, in ways we simply don’t understand, Moving on men with the Spirit of God, all across this land that we trod. With His Spirit, moved by Grace, God moves hearts from every place, Meeting men, right where they are, changing hearts, both near and far. All of this according to God’s Will, until all of His Word He does fulfill, Not even a letter will go unfulfilled, until all is done, as God has willed. To be sure all that was said, is done, God sent to earth His Only Son, Who has been given All Authority, and reigns above both you and me. And soon upon earth Christ will reign, exalted high above every name, Carrying out The Father’s Rule; changing even the most hardened fool. My Hope will then become reality, when every eye on the earth will see, The Lord from Heaven, coming down, while wearing His Eternal Crown. And being robed in Heaven’s Majesty, to be our King for all of Eternity, Bringing Hope to all this world, as Eternity by Jesus Christ, is unfurled. Bob, I agree: Jesus is our "hope" today as we're called to watch and pray... A Wonderful and Encouraging poem as we await His soon arrival. God bless, -Bob On the first line, the words “earth” and “the” should probably exchange places. |
