"An evening in june"

An evening in june, beneath the
vast expanse of the spacious firmament
in its ethereal veil of eternal blue.
The unseen spirit, like living eyes of heaven
constantly flows in a fiery stream of celestial light.
A wonderland of beauty the earth down under lies
as it gazes upwards in awe at the sapphire gleaming skies.
A feeling of immense joy fills the air
as the melody of the gentle wind rustling the trees
that are clad in their mantle of fairest green.
Chants its secrets to the upper atmosphere,
reaching with outstreched arms before the crystalline gates.
Edging ever forward toward the vision of paradise.
And there is God in a palace divine, where angels
round about the throne praise his Holy Name.
Can a mortal man in likewise worship the Eternal
In light of our sin, is he hid from human eyes
In the state of grace, can a man in righteousness arise, to be one in his love!?
Then will you hear my prayer, O Lord God Almighty.
Incline your ears to my words
bring me closer to your heart
guide my steps.
Let the way appear, a pathway into heaven
where I can enter to lie at your bosom
and behold your glory.
Where I can be taken in the spirit
to stand before your glorious throne
as a new man with a new heart.
Praising my Lord forever and evermore.

Welcome!  It appears you are rather new to Passions.  Your well chosen words are so descriptive, flowing from thought to thought.  It's hard to imagine actually seeing our heavenly Father face to face.  What a humbling experience it will be.
