Not Much More To Say

There is not much more to say, to believers not walking in The Way,
The Way, prescribed by our God, for our life upon this earthly sod.
God even modeled an earthly life, through the person Jesus Christ,
Christ chose a man named Saul, to pen instruction as Apostle Paul.

And all of this, to be plain for us, who in God have placed our trust.
In the example of Jesus Christ, we are to give our life as a sacrifice.
And as Paul, learned and bright, we’re to become our Savior’s Light.
These two examples show the love, we are to reflect for God above.

Those of us, who belong to Him, we are not to linger in a life of sin,
We’re saved to be witnesses for, God’s Son Jesus our Living Lord.
For other men will notice our walk, well before they will hear our talk,
A walk that sets all believers apart, if Christ truly reigns in their heart.

For those of us who have believed, The Lord above is not deceived,
And the life Christ called us to, God expects from both me and you.
For salvation cost God a price, the precious blood of Jesus Christ,
When He was nailed on that cross, paying the price for sinners lost.

It’s not a question of how or when, I live for Christ, when born again,
From worldly ways we must depart, when The Lord lives in our heart.
And if you do not depart from sin, The Hand of God could enter in,
To have His way in every life, which professes His Son Jesus Christ.

I agree with Lighthouse Bob.  Your lines are an invitation to any and all who wonder what's wrong with their lives or just what all this 'commitment to Christ' is about.
