A terrified child hides under the bed Trying to escape the shame His father does things he doesn't understand The cycle repeated again And he trembles in fear and silently prays Lord, please let it end Lost in the torment and the shame In his life darkness descends * For all those who've lost their hope Who suffer in silence each day Torment and fear their only friends As life slowly ebbs away No-one could ever truly know The pain that you've been through Except for Jesus, for He was a man And He suffered too A young lady's life destroyed in one day Through the choices of one man Her self and her joy replaced by fear That no-one can understand And daily she struggles, desperate and alone No-one knows her pain She feels forever trapped by the fear That envelops her time and again - As the lashes tore pieces of flesh from His body As the nails pierced His hands And the blood poured down from that cross, for you I know Jesus understands. |

Yes, Sylvia...He loves and knew all did not turn away from his destiny so that all may be forgiven. Well done. |
