What Is Memory Worth? Dedicated to the $32 Grand Honda Accord ... of course!  I went to town the other day To buy a loaf of bread, And when I came back out again I searched all through my head. “Where is that car hiding now? “Ah yes, I can regain, “I think I came here from the left” And then it hit me plain. I was parked way over there Down the Y row sure, So down I trod to find my car But my memory was a blur. Then when hope was surely gone I couldn’t find that Bug, It was behind some eighteen wheels Like a well lost bolt or lug. There’s got to be a better way My memory to reset, Now a car worth 32 grand I’d remember or regret!! “Do you have 32 grand Buick today “To help this women out? “If you did I’ll promise you ”My memory would have a turn-a-bout”. Can I pay you back? you say No doubt your wondering how, You’ll get paid like medical bills Ten bucks a month is all I can allow. “Hello….are you still there??? “Hello, Hello”. No new car for this ol’ gal And it is for the best, Cause it would hurt so much more Being tremendously depressed. “Oh, there it is”. (How did it get there?) by, Marie D. Afraid it ain't only the older folks here that have that trouble - I'm not 30 yet and I make a habit of forgetting where I've parked. Smiles! |
